WILDERNESS RESCUE brings together the skills of the technical rescuer – rope rescue- and the emergency medical personnel to provide whatever is required to bring to safety the victim requiring rescue in a wilderness situation. Depending on the area in which such rescue takes place and the time of year, water or ice rescue skills might be put into play; even the skills required to do confined space rescue.
